The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, and the Member of the National Assembly for La Prairie, Richard Merlini, on behalf of Quebec's Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Pierre Moreau, are pleased to announce that the municipalities of Candiac, Delson, La Prairie and Saint-Philippe will together receive nearly $17 million over the next five years under the new federal-provincial Gas Tax Fund agreement and from the Government of Quebec's contribution for the completion of priority infrastructure projects. Distribution of funding for the La Prairie electoral district will be distributed as follows: Candiac, $5,968,322; Delson, $2,199,364; La Prairie, $6,992,241; and Saint-Philippe, $1,766,190....
