Support was announced today for nine projects to improve community infrastructure and enhance tourism on the Northern Peninsula. During an event today, Gudie Hutchings, Member of Parliament for Long Range Mountains, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), announced a total of more than $1.2 million for these projects. The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, provincial Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development also announced a total investment of more than $617,000 in provincial funding for six of the projects....
