As part of its mandate, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) disseminates objective scientific, technical and regulatory information to the public. In keeping with this, the CNSC has released its latest online module and video, entitled "Nuclear in Your Neighbourhood".

The module and video will help the public to discover how the CNSC makes sure that nuclear activities, and the facilities where they take place, are safe for Canadians and the environment. For additional information, visit

  • You can voice your opinion on nuclear regulatory matters. The CNSC takes your opinion into account when making decisions.
