Grand Opening of New Surrey North Service Canada Centre

After many years at the King George Boulevard site, it was deemed necessary to open a second Service Canada Centre location to accommodate the growing population base, and to provide a second more convenient location. The Surrey office on King George Boulevard experiences large volumes and long waits. By opening a second office in Surrey, Service Canada is able to accommodate the growing needs of residents in Surrey.

This new centre, located at 13889 104th Avenue, will provide enhanced federal visibility in the community, and will incorporate the Service Canada Service Experience Model by offering a more interactive and welcoming environment for clients. Service Canada staff have been working to help clients adjust to this new location.

Surrey is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada, with a current population of over 460 000 residents. The City of Surrey covers a large area located south of the Fraser River between Vancouver and the United States border.

What services are available?

The Surrey North Service Canada Centre will offer reliable access to a wide range of programs and services clients need, including Employment Insurance, Old Age Security and Canada Pension Plan benefits, Social Insurance Number applications, and a Service Canada Centre for Youth in the summer months. Service Canada continues to deliver on its goal of providing Canadians with one-stop, personalized service they can access however they choose-by telephone, by Internet or in person.
