Demonstration of roadside screening devices for drug-impaired driving
Members of the media are invited to take photos and record B-roll at a demonstration of roadside screening devices for drug-impaired driving that will be pilot-tested. The results will help inform how police services counter drug-impaired driving in Canada.
**Please note that this event is for photos and B-roll recording only. Follow-up questions and interview requests can be sent to the media relations offices listed below.**
This demonstration is part of a training session for law enforcement officers from across Canada organized by Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The training session is closed to media.
Media representatives who wish to attend must register in advance with Public Safety Canada Media Relations, by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Media should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance to sign-in and present photo ID and credentials. Photo ID must be visible at all times.
